Netflix Friday: Twelve
I watched this movie the other day with really low expectations for two reasons; one- Chance Crawford is too pretty to be a convincing drug dealer, two- anyone movie with 50 cent in it has to be awful. One of my expectations was met (he really is to pretty) but the secondly one wasn’t.
The movie starts off with the beautiful Chance Crawford loosing his mother to cancer and turning to deal drugs for money. Imagine Chance’s character Nate in the same situation and you’ve got the somewhat of the plot of this movie. What I really enjoyed about the movie was the focus on a bunch of different characters and the events in their lives that take them to the climax of the movie; the hot, popular girl’s birthday party. Normally movies that over indulge in characters tend to get to hard to follow (think those movies like “Valentines Day” that are packed full of celebs) but the story line never gets to overwhelming and it’s easy to follow the main character “White Mike” (Crawford) and create a certain attachment to his storyline and the story lines of the characters he meets. The ending of this movie is what’s really awesome. You never see it coming. Which makes this film a nice watch, if you don’t have anything else to do.
Netflix Friday and Music Mondays
Hey guys to do some cool stuff in between when I can put things up for sale on Two Faced Clothing I’m going to start every friday posting a pick of a movie or TV show that I suggest you watch off of Netflix. Mondays will be Music Monday’s and every Monday I’ll post a song or album I think you should listen to or that inspires me. I think fashion incorporates music and Movies/TV.
